MISSION AND VISION
Conservation Heritage – Turambe (CHT) is a local non - governmental organization established in 2013 and based in Musanze District, in the Northern Province of Rwanda. The organization is intentionally comprised of 10 local Rwandan staff who are passionate about conservation and dedicated to environmental protection, ecosystem restoration, and climate change mitigation and adaptation. CHT advances its goals by implementing effective, community-based outreach programs.
Our Mission
CHT seeks to educate local communities living near Rwanda’s protected areas, particularly Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas, through conservation and health awareness programs, fostering harmonious coexistence between people, wildlife, and their natural habitat.
